First week of January is coming to an end
Can't believe the first week of January, 2012 is coming to an end! I'm actually glad to see it pass, as the constant high winds and down-pouring of rain haven't been keeping me asleep like it used to. The temperature has been very mild though, at least it's not freezing. And some nights, the cabin is so warm that even Bravo will move off his cedar bed, away from the warmth of the wood stove and find a cool spot on the floor. Kiwi hangs out by the stove no matter what the temperature is. When I pick him up he feels like a warm half-baked bread loaf.
It continues to be very exciting each and every time a response is received from the new website! Many thanks to Len and Barb (M/V Second Pleasure) and their daughter and son-in-law, Kris and Robert, owners of Azaris Studios and proud new owners of "Lagu" which is in it's final stages of production in France! Check out their blog on Lagu's progress: www.lagu.ca. Also, much gratitude and thanks to our good friends Phyllis and George (S/V Grey Starling) who have been such wonderful friends and mentors to Kent and I. We would truly be lost without their friendship, words of wisdom and encouragement.
As we continue to plan for the 2012 boating season, any and all comments and suggestions are certainly appreciated, so please do not hesitate to send us one!
