~Freezing Greetings from Jennis Bay Marina~

2012 arrived quickly and quietly!  New brochures and business cards have been designed and printed just in time for Jennis Bay to have it's presence at the Seattle Boat Show.  Many thanks again to Barb and Len of M/V Second Pleasure, along with their daughter Kris and husband Robert of the soon to be M/V Lagu!  The new website continues to get a lot of hits and emails, which makes us quite thrilled.  Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to visit the site!

Kent gave the "big house" another attitude adjustment by getting it pulled back another 10 feet.  While attempting to finish this one man challenge by moving the forward angle another few feet closer to the bushes, the cable snapped and the supporting block uprooted an old stomp.  It's going to have to wait now until the big freeze is over and the ground can dry out, or until we thaw out!

We knew the weather would be changing fast and began the necessary preparations.  Sure enough, our entire water supply froze up this morning, despite having three separate kitchen faucets turned on.  Most of the bay has been frozen for days now.  Judging from the weather predictions, we'll be frozen here for some time.  The scenery of the bay continues to be absolutely gorgeous no matter what the weather conditions are.  I really do think Jennis Bay is "the most beautiful place in the world"~
