~Missing Jennis Bay~
We've only been away for a week, but I'm missing JB very much, missing Bravo and Kiwi, and our little cabin. Jennis Bay is now our home - and I'm getting homesick thinking about our home! The emotional draw to it's beauty that I felt as a teenager remains with me today. The flight out on the Grummand Goose was such an awesome sightseeing tour, and did I take lots of pictures...? No...forgot to grab the camera. Jennis Bay, Sullivan Bay, Sterling Point, Kingcome Inlet, Gilford Bay to Port McNeill! Gorgeous snow capped mountains, light fog and quite a bit of rain, yet the views were phenomenal. Kingcome seems to be the land of waterfalls - very magestic. I wonder if Pacific Coastal could always pick me up first so I would always have the sightseeing tour?
I hope everyone has had an awesome time at the Seattle Boat Show, and hopefully our brochures were scooped up quickly! We'll have the brochures and business cards available at the Vancouver and Victoria Boat Show as well, so Jennis Bay can have the presence it deserves. Lots of fun shopping in the Comox and Courtney area for new decor for the cookhouse, gift shop and boater deck...colorful pots, seeds for herb gardens - don't hold your breath because I don't have much of a green thumb, but I am committed to giving this my best effort.
Looking forward to and welcoming any comments and suggestions so that we can make "discovering Drury and Jennis Bay" your most memorable experience. Kent and I welcome Summer Boating Season 2012 at JENNIS BAY!
